Residential Program
Your past does not define your future.
Our most intensive program, the Residential Program serves 30 women for six months as they learn the skills they need to become self-sufficient and offers a safe, supportive environment to post-incarceration women as they reintegrate into the community.
Each woman’s journey through the Residential Program is based on her individualized reentry plan with her case manager, which includes life skills training, mental health and substance abuse counseling, optional GED-tutoring and mentoring, and referrals to community services for additional healthcare, legal, and employment needs.
Yet beyond the expectations, resources, and appointments, clients remark that the Residential Program offers something else more important: compassion, respect, and self-worth. For women who feel broken or angry by a life of unaddressed addictive behavior and past trauma, staff are trained to work with each resident on how to respond to circumstances and situations rather than always reacting. Although these changes may not come overnight, those clients with a mindset for change learn skills that stay with them for the rest of their lives.
