ways to help
Your support will "help us help" female ex-offenders in Northern Virginia make the difficult transition from incarceration back into the community. Our assistance to clients is comprehensive. Friends of Guest House is the only such group focused on Northern Virginia.
Currently, we reach about 125 women a year—less than a third of Northern Virginia's 400-plus women on community supervision. We must reach more.
We recently expanded our Residential Program to serve 17 women at a time (nearly doubling Residential's capacity). To fully fund that expansion, we're counting on our community's generosity, especially this year.
Please help!
Here are some of the many ways to get involved:
Our work is funded by state and local government agencies, foundations, religious groups, businesses and individuals. Guest House is a member of United Way of the National Capital Area. Gifts to Friends of Guest House are tax-deductible. Guest House is a 501(c)(3) public charity; Federal ID# 51-0201327.
